possible IL UFO

I live in Central Illinois in the country. Last night Dec 3rd, 2007 around 6:15pm I was going out my garage towards the north and looked up and saw 6 lights in a vertical pattern (3 lights in a roll vertically and then off to the side and down 3 more lights in a roll vertically). It was there one or two seconds and then it was gone. Very very weird and the lights were bright enough that it caught my attention as soon as I walked outside. We have no outside lights so it was very very dark and a few stars in the sky.
